Healthcare Award: Clínica Alemana awarded first place in three categories
This year, the institution was distinguished in Hospital Care Capabilities, Human Resources and Services Management, and Healthcare Support and Quality.
On December 14, the 2016 Healthcare Awards Ceremony was held by Diario Financiero’s Revista Portafolio Salud (Health Portfolio Magazine), with Clínica Alemana obtaining the first place in three categories, as it did in 2015.
In this second version, the Clinic ranked first in:
- Hospital Care Capabilities: This category includes basic indicators such as medical appointments, emergency care, total releases, operating room hours and international accreditations.
- Human Resources Management: This category addresses the relationship between the number of health professionals and patients, full-time headcount strengthening policies, hospital governance transparency and visibility of a mission, vision and institutional goals.
- Service, Support and Quality of Healthcare: This category evaluates, among others, the ability to offer assistance during hospitalization, digital communication and transparency in the services delivered and collection.
Carolina Jara, Clínica Alemana’s Commercial Manager, referred to the award: "We are very pleased with this recognition, because it reflects the emphasis we place on delivering a care of excellence to our patients; it is also a motivation for all members of Clínica Alemana , who work day-after-day to maintain high “healthcare quality standards".
The Healthcare Awards distinguish high-complexity national clinics and hospitals that have been accredited or are currently going through the process, based on the analysis of performance in six dimensions: Human Resource Management, Hospital Care Capability, Scientific Research, Financial Efficiency, Sustainability, and Service, Support and Quality. The analysis was carried out by consultant TintaChina.
